Two armored personnel carriers for Ukraine
The Ukrainian army captured two Russian armored personnel carriers last year in the Kursk region. Now, we need to repair them and send them to fight in the Kursk direction under the Ukrainian flag.
Campaign Goal
To raise funds for the repair of two BTR-82A armored personnel carriers captured from the Russian army near Kursk. Both vehicles need repairs and modifications to meet the needs of the Ukrainian army. Once ready, they will be deployed in combat in the Kursk region.
What Are We Raising Funds For?
The BTR-82A is an eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier known for its mobility, firepower, and durability. It is powered by a KamAZ-7403 diesel engine with 260 horsepower, enabling it to reach speeds of up to 90 km/h on roads and a range of approximately 600 km. It is fully amphibious, with a water speed of 10 km/h. The primary armament consists of a 14.5mm KPVT machine gun and a 7.62mm PKT machine gun. Thanks to an improved turret design, it can fire at steep angles, making it particularly effective in urban combat.
The vehicle’s armor provides protection against small arms fire and shrapnel, with the front and side hull sections reinforced to a thickness of 9 mm. Its design features horizontally split doors, enhancing safety and making dismounting easier. The BTR-82A can carry up to seven soldiers in addition to its three-member crew. This transport vehicle combines reliability, firepower, and protection, making it an effective tool for infantry transport and combat support.

Logistics and handover
Both vehicles are already in Ukraine, and the repairs are being coordinated with the Prytula Foundation, a long-term partner organization. The repairs will be carried out in Ukraine, and the vehicles will be deployed to frontline units once they are ready.
