We’re on the verge of sending a Black Hawk helicopter to Ukraine. We’ve secured a newer and more affordable machine that Ukraine urgently needs. Let’s complete what we started and send the Black Hawk into the fight against the Empire.
Complete the Black Hawk Helicopter Campaign for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
We’re on a mission to finalize the fundraiser for a Black Hawk helicopter for Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Thanks to our efforts, we’ve secured a newer and more affordable machine from the United States, reducing the final cost to €2,800,000.
This journey began on November 17 last year, when we launched a campaign to provide the Ukrainian Army with a Black Hawk helicopter. While we made significant progress initially, the momentum slowed after a few months due to criticism from some voices claiming Ukraine didn’t need this machine and had other priorities for victory. Over the past several months, we’ve been in discussions with representatives of Ukrainian intelligence. HUR (Ukrainian military intelligence) has urged us to continue and complete this campaign. With their cooperation, we identified a helicopter outside Europe that is €1.3 million cheaper and even slightly newer.
Let’s come together to finish what we started and send the Black Hawk to serve in Ukraine.
The HUR forces, which will be using the Black Hawk, already have several of them. They use them for the evacuation of Ukrainian soldiers and for special missions that cause significant material and human losses to the Russian side.
The Ukrainian side will take care of transporting the machine to Europe and putting it into operation. Purchasing in the USA is the only option for Ukraine to acquire a cheaper one than the one available for sale in the Czech Republic.
Sikorsky UH-60A+ Black Hawk. The helicopter is equipped with four-blade rotors, both main and tail, powered by two T700-GE-701 D turbo-shaft engines. The UH-60A+ has a wide range of uses in missions, including troop transport, electronic warfare, and air evacuation.
With an internal payload of 1,200 kg or an external payload of 4,100 kg, it can transport 11 soldiers with equipment or a howitzer with a crew. The avionics include a GPS navigation system and it can be equipped with the ESSS wing system for carrying fuel tanks and armaments up to a weight of 4,500 kg, including rockets and guided missiles.
